Is TCON TSEND TRCV TDISCON possible with WinAC RTX PLC and S7-1200?

Daxxxx Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	Hello! I'd like to have your advice about the configuration of the TCON TSEND TRCV TDISCON. Is it possible to configure with 1-controller is S7-1200 and the other is WinAC RTX Software PLC. I am looking for anyone advice to help us achieve this configuration. if you can share manuals, sample program. thank you!

Stefan Arcularius Platinum Expert Joined: 1/21/2013 Last visit: 1/23/2026 Posts: 4427 Rating: (653)	Hi Daxxxx, You may find it easier to use the "Libraries for Communication" as shown in "Basic Open User Communication (OUC) Examples". This gives you more functionality for communication without having to program everything yourself. If this does not fit your needs, please provide more information about your needs, as Open User Communication allows a wide range of functionality. Kind regards Stefan

Daxxxx Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	hello sir, with s7-1200 hardware software configuration using tia portal v16 is ok. the remaining missing partner connection which we need to configure is the WinAC RTX software PLC and we want to configure this OUC communication TCON. Our concern is what are the requirements for us to configure this WinAC RTX as soft PLC like simulator, add on software installation. thank you!

Maybe there is some misunderstanding about WinAC RTX. Yes, WinAC RTX is a software controller, but in your case please think of it as a PLC like your S7-1200. And like any other PLC, you have to write a program for it. In the case of WinAC RTX, this programming can be done with STEP 7 TIA Portal as well as with the classic STEP 7. For further assistance we volunteers need more information to know on how we have to focus. So please provide more information. Kind regards Stefan

I have tried to established the TCON config but was not successful. I hope the picture gives clear information of what I need to do. thank you very much!
