Have you tried using a MOVE command (LAD/FBD) with the DB / tag name?

Also, read the F1-help on the PID Compact for details on what parts of the PID compact model are dynamic and what values are static.

I would hope the one you wish to change is dynamic.  Otherwise, it will not accept your changes and act on them.
