I have a SINAMICS S120 CU310-2 PN.

I have a drive-CliQ encoder conected to the shaft of my motor and another HTL encoder connected to my conveyor.

So my question is, is it possible to CU310-2 handle two encoder? One by means of the X100 (Drive-CliQ port) and the other by means of the X23 (D-sub encoder interface).

How would be the connection in the device view of startdrive? I should select the encoder for position control by the parameter P2502?

Hi all, 

Just to give a feedback about the application, it is possible to procede using two encoders in a S120 CU310-2, one for position and the other for the speed controller.

You have to insert another eMMc to the drive axis, and mark the check box "SMC30 Internal", what configures the drive to enable the D-Sub Connection port.

After that you need to configure a telegram on the drive that have two encoders word (e.g. tel. 106), at the end you can point in the TO for any of the two encoders.
