Hello:

I have the same problem with IOT2050 - 0YA2 FS:02.

After a few seconds of turning on the equipment the STAT LED turns red and there is no way to change it. Using example_image_v1.1 via SD, via USB, using Win disk imager, there is no way.

I connected a monitor to DP cable, there is no signal. Even with the red LED I tried to connect via ethernet but there is no response. On the other hand, I have noticed that the computer heats up, could it be a hardware failure, how can I evaluate it?

Hi, that sounds a bit confusing. We need we need to make sure of a few things to check for a hardware error:

• do you use any kind of adapter or something similar between the IOT2050 and the display? most of the time these kind of devices do not work with the IOT2050. It's important to use a standard DisplayPort cable from IOT2050 DP output to display DP input - please try another cable one time and check for correct settings on the display
• you can also try to connect via UART Serial: We've made good experiences with this UART cable and the following settings in tool PuTTY

• have you checked for a supported SD card? we have heard different experiences with different brands (we always use SanDisk Ultra SDHC class 10)
• Sometimes images get corrupted -> try it with a fresh downloaded Example Image from our Download Page(I would also go for the Example Image V1.1.1 as it is compatible with all the FW versions)
• What was the IOT previously used for? Does this indicate any problems? Was an FW update or similar carried out last?
