Hello,

I bought a Siemens Logo 8.4 with display. The idea is to use it as a controller for my thermal solar panel system. I managed to program it and everything work perfectly, now I'm working on refining and polishing the software.

Let's say that I would like to have a feature on my controller that can be enabled/disabled by the user on the local display(two states, either ON or OFF). How can I handle that? Where should I store the digital value in a way that can be edited on the display?

I already managed to do the same thing with analog values (e.g. configuring a switch on temperature of the system) by storing the value inside a Mathematical Instruction block and then by editing the value inside a Message texts block, but I still don't understand how to obtain the same result with digital values.

I'm using the software switches. I also have a suggestion for the status display.
