I also have a Siemens LOGO24! That needs to be programmed. 6ED1 052-1CC00-0BA6

and also that it is only compatible with the software version 8.3 and no later to program this.

I thought i had ordered version 8.0  as advertised but recieved  V8.4 and i am about to return it until i saw your comment saying 8.4 is fully backwards compatible. Please can you confirm this is correct.

I have a programming cable, its a USB to the connector that is on the front of the LOGO! 24 PLC.

Yes, LSC is backward compatible.
You can use LSC V8.4.x to create programs for a 0BA6, modify existing programs, and transfer or download programs to LOGO! by using the LOGO! USB cable.
