FM 354 Analog output

I want to know what will be the Physical Address of FM354 analog output. Is there any way in FM354 like FM 357 so that we can send Setpoint of FM to Drive on Profibus. regards, Rahul

The FM 354 single-axis positioning module for servo motors has the same basic design as the SIMATIC S7-300 series. The module does not support PROFIBUS as 357. Probably it is help to you. naah Posts: 76 Rating: (8)	Hi, Your question is not so clear. Doy you want to set the speed of another drive connected to Profibus Network? As you know, the setpoint of FM354 is set in your PLC program, so you can send it to Profibus too! If it is not your question, please explain moe!

Again in logic we are defining speed in MM/ Min and override . We define encoder data in FM. Depending on encoder data calculate speed setpoint. I want to know where I can get this sppeed stpoint which is available on 9 pin connector of FM 354. Is it possible to get this setpoint and send same through profibus. My system is currently running with harwire analog output from FM. If you have any query please mail me. regards, Rahul

Code table: Code Significance 0 No parameter request 1 Actual position 2 Actual velocity 3 Distance to go 4 Setpoint 5 Total current coordinate shift 6 Speed 16 DAC output value 17 Actual encoder value 18 Pulse errors 19 Kv factor 20 Following error 21 Following error limit 22 s overshoot/switch readjustment in Reference Point Approach mode 23 Approach time Te (ms)/drive constant Ta (ms) in Control mode The code should be entered in CODE_AP1...AP4. These values are always updated in the FM cycle. The selection is stored on the FM, i.e. you need make the selection only once to read the corresponding values cyclically afterwards (user DB, DBX43.6). The above text is from FM354 manual. I think, you need the DAC output value. I have no FM354 to test it. Please try it. Good luck!
