If you program in SCL and/or STL, you can export those as ASCII text files. You can export tags to text or to excel. Hardware, that's TIA Openness. The "export" is not much of an export like you are probably thinking. It is a way to save the configuration such that you can create it again using a "script" or program in Visual Studio. You probably don't want to ask questions about Openness until you at least googled and read what Siemens says about it. It might easily be that what you are thinking to use the export for is not going to be helpful to your cause. Creating a Library project might be helpful to you. BR
