END_FUNCTION_BLOCK error in SCL

Jeroen_dutch Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	I'm quite new to programming is SCL and was testing some functions in a function block. When compiling I get this error :"unknown statement" at the END_FUNCTION_BLOCK line and a block incorrect message. I've posted the code here below, I hope somebody can tell me what is the problem so I can learn from it. So I'd suggest to switch the logic like this: [code] // status bepalen IF enable =false THEN mode :=standby; ELSE IF koelvraag =true THEN mode := koeling; ELSIF defrost_req =true THEN mode := defrosting; ELSE mode :=standby; END_IF; END_IF; [/code] Best regards, yy1

I have changed your code to the form below and it compiles fine. It also looks rather neater in my opinion with better indentation and whitespace and the expanded IF / END_IF constructs.
