Clean up function in customize->block types

I want to use the clean up function, because I want all the blocks that are not used in CFC charts, be gone. I'm a perfectionist, so only want the blocks I used;) But, like always... is this function safe to use? Not like the "Optimize Run time sequence" function that can screw up your program?

smiffy Platinum Expert Joined: 1/17/2007 Last visit: 7/10/2025 Posts: 1561 Rating: (540)	It will only allow you to delete blocks that are not used ANYWHERE in you program, so I cannot see how it could cause any issues. I understand where you are comming from. PCS7 has a number of "unexpected features" and sometimes gets it wrong. But I have used this function on numerous occaisions and have never had an issue. So try it. If you are worried about it, then simply archive the project before you use the function. That way you can always get back to something that works if/when it all goes wrong.
