TP277 - Are data & alarm log files encrypted?

Renaldo Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	I am using data and alarm logging from a TP277 to its MMC. I am concerned about security of the log files after logging is complete (21 CFR Part 11). I have noticed that if I remove the MMC and modify a log file or just save it, then insert the MMC back to the TP277, the TP277 no longer reads that log file (it is empty). Is there an encryption to the log files?

I am concerned that a user may remove the MMC, which is holding alarm and data logs, modify the data, and then insert the MCC back to to the TP277. I have found that when this is done, the log files are blank as shown on the TP277. This is why I ask if there is encryption.

But when you manipulate the files, they might become corrupted or do not have the right structure Best regards, Wizard
