Robster Platinum Member Joined: 5/28/2008 Last visit: 1/15/2026 Posts: 1344 Rating: (141)	Ok, there are round about 1000 of different GPS-tuners on the market. I don't know the GPS tuner you have. But make sure that he has the specifications written in the documentation. (Baud rate, etc.) Some kinds of GPS-tuner you can adjust by special software. Have a look if it is so at yours. Make sure that power supply is connected to the GPS tuner and make sure that he runs so far. But beware to take the correct voltage. Also have a look to RS232 cable of tuner, it normally should have standard pin-out. next thing is to have a look if tuner is connected to correct Port of PLC. If all these things are running, the PPI-LED of serial PPI cable should be green and TX/RX should flash if program is running in PLC. regards

wolka Bronze Member Joined: 3/26/2009 Last visit: 12/22/2025 Posts: 147 Rating: (0)	Receiver will not work because the connector PS / 2 (pin 1,2) doesn't receive 5V from the PPI / PC cable. Voltage at the pin's PPI / PC (at the side RS232) not more than 3,5V. For connecting PS / 2 and RS232 will have to use any adapter with 5V VSS. In set41 not seen anything like one
