S7-200 with EM277 and WinCC via MPI-cable ?

eakalinin Posts: 11 Rating: (2)	Hello, all ! Is possible connection between S7-200 with EM277-module and WinCC 7.0 via MPI-cable a.k.a. PC Adapter ( 6ES7972-0CB20-0XA0 ) by MPI or Profibus protocol ? If not, can you suggest some external Profibus-adapter for connect to WinCC ? In description of MPI-cable is written, what MPI/DP can be used with S7-300/400 and PPI can be used with S7-200. But in our system Port0 of S7-200 is occupied already by other hardware and we don't want use PPI-connection with WinCC (through OPC-server of PC Access) with that. We can't use Profibus-card like CP5613, so as used Panel PC for WinCC.

According to link I gave you it seems that not possible to use this cable to connect to WinCC, but its hard to believe. Lets wait for other users response.
