Hello Homerid; Yes, WinCC Flex (on a RT PC or a panel) can be used as a DP master with EM277 slaves. See the following document for basic information and guidance: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/28263099 Now, Profibus-DP allows connection at over 650m, but at lower busspeeds, under 187,5 kB, preferably 9600 Baud. Try different speed limits until your network is stable, and be sure to use proper Profibus cables andconnectors, and to set the terminator correctly, on the 2 end stations.
