Hi, this is normal, when a drive flashes between 0 and "a value", it just means that this is the target setpoint if the drive was given the enable signal, then it will run at this speed. You need to determine where this target setpoint is coming from. You say that you have reset to factory defaults, therefore, P1000 should be = 2 (Source of frequency setpoint = Analog) See the attached picture, if you can use starter, you can see where this frequency setpoint is coming from. Failing that, use the function diagrams to see which parameters to look at on the BOP. Cheers, Graeme Attachment6.zip (194 Downloads) |

Hello Onilll, I am agree with Graeme. The value on the BOP will switch betwwen 0 & another value like in your case, if there is an active setpoint applied to the drive but the enable start signal is not activated yet. You can test it if you have an analog setpoint and you did noy activated the enable signal. If you have change the analog setpoint value, the value will change also on the BOP. It is normal. In the following link, there is a MM420 Simulator. You can test your case if you go to initial applications/ selecting the command source http://cmsapps.sea.siemens.com/sitrain/wbt/MM420/start.htm Hope this helps. |
