Get RMS vlaue from EM231??

ossoo Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi all, Is there away to get the RMS value? I am using S7-200 CPU224 and AI module EM231. The input signal is: 60Hz, 3-phase, +/-5V max. Isany way to get the RMS value? Thanks a lot,

One solution is using CT (for current measurement) and PT or VT(for voltage measurement).Check (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Current_transformer) as a sample.They transfer Power values to suitable signals for electronic modules.Try phoenix contact range of products and contact them for a suitable module.
