Making Fail Safe Functions - Error E:block type 'new F_Block' doesn't correspond the failsafe block library

turbomedia Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	mazdak Dear YY Can I ask you, which version of S7 and related softwares (like CFC, F-System, SCL) do you use? Maybe this error is because of my software versions inconsistency. I tried to make this user defined function with ordinary blocks (non-fail safe), but i faced with the same error again!

turbomedia Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	DEAR ALLIhave proceeded to make a database for burner management system in Simatic failsafe ,and also according to the latest vendor logic diagram which makesmeto create some function in new database with failsafe standard function , at first for logic implementationi used (STEP7-V5.4 -SP3) and i didn’t have any problem for function making according to the attachment procedure (creating failsafe block function) whereasi have to use (STEP7-V5.4-SP4) due to S7-CP for industrial Ethernet (CP443-1 order number 6GK7443-1EX20-0XE0 V2.0) which is familiar only with service pack-4 , soi can't use new function block in (STEP7-V5.4-SP4) when we are going to compile new function in failsafe chart diagram the bellow error is represented .E:block type 'new F_Block' doesn't correspond the failsafe block libraryat mean time we use the following Simatic package , 1- CFC: V6.1+SP12- S7 Configuration Pack:V5.5+SP83- S7 F Library:V1.2+SP44- S7 F System:V5.2+SP45- S7 SCL:V5.3+SP16- STEP7:V5.4+SP4Please coming up a solution.Thank you

yy1 Gold Member Joined: 3/24/2009 Last visit: 7/9/2024 Posts: 535 Rating: (112)	Dear turbomedia, you get the error message *'Block type 'newF_Block' doesn't correspond to the Failsafe Blocks Library standard', if the name in the block-header is not the same as the symbolic-name. There's a little hint in the manual 'S7 F-FH Systems - Configuring and Programming' chap. 5.7.3 #4: Enter the properties of the new F-Block type. Make sure that the names under "Symbolic Name" and "Name (Header)" are identical*. So, if you define the same names for 'Symbolic name' and 'Name (header)', this error should not appear any more.
