FB42 to control two valves in a water cooling line

Kevlar Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi Late, I 'm using FB42 to control two valves in a water cooling line. I have one temperature input and two outputs (valve open, valve close) to regulate the final system temperature. Since I have only this one process to control, I'd like to use all memory address as opposed to DBs. What could some of the potential issues be? Thanks, Kevlar

Thanks, Kevlar Dear Kevlar, "Temperature Step Control with FB59 "TCONT_S" would be the optimized function for temperature control. besides there is a sample project available in STEP7 "zEn01_13_STEP7__PID-Temp". To access the project:File-->Open-->Sample projects-->zEn01_13_STEP7 __PID-Temp.Simply copy the S7 program"Step controller" in your hardware and test it even without connecting to an actual hardware.Check the attachement to see the variables can be changed in this example.
