One of our clients ordered a replacement panel today (originally programmed in protool). So I retrieved the project in my Simatic Manager, no screen shows up. I open WinCC Flex 2008 SP3, try to open it there, no luck either. No option to migrate either... Strange.

I do some reading, and find out that the migration option is removed in SP3. Awesome, so we finally can install WinCC on a 64 bits Win 7 machine, but it will cost you the migration tool.. Yay...

Anyway. I install WinCC 2008 SP2 on my virtual Win XP machine, and migrate my project, works great. It will be sucky tho when my trial license expires..

First question, is there a way to map the license key on my Win 7 machine in a way that I can also use it on my virtual Win XP machine?

After a day of fidling, and finding out, I am now home, and try to migrate another project. And it doesn't work. I think it has something to do with the fact that I saved my previous project on a network station that is not available right now. So when I try to migrate the project, it tries to find the station, and just shows an empty screen. I can't make a new project either..

Second question. Where can I change the default station?

According to me there is no way to do it, at least legally. Theoretically, in practice these are two stations.
