Configuration of ABSOLUTE ENCODER SSI ON ADI4 and 840DI PL. PROBLEMS

evandrobastos Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Dear friends the encoder was configurated to work on the 1º mesure system, when we turn the encoder it works fine and show us the mesure on the display. The 2º mesure system isn´t activated. When you reset the 840DI the 1º mesure system come with de value of the 2º mesure system and lost the last value before we reset.Tanks.

CNC600 Posts: 455 Rating: (77)	Hi, I understand (roughly) the situation on Your system. But not what behaviour do You expect there. The basically behavior around this stuation corresponds perhaps with MD30242 $MA_ENC_IS_INDEPENDENT You can adjust the behaviour fromthe "passive"encoder by settingsat this MD. Please refer to the common documentation (function descriptions G2 & R1, startup guide) hope that helps CNC600
