replacing Cf card

jerno Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello, I am a student and for my bachelor thesis i need to program with DCC on a simatic S120. at this time there is already a CF card in the control module with firmware version 2.4. But with this version i cant program DCC. Therefore I bought a card with the following properties: Sinamics S120 compactflash card W/O performance extension including certificate of licence V4.05 F03: 3 X safety license DBSi. But when i put this card into the card module the led DP1 blinks on a frequence of 2 Hz and the led OPT lights? or do I have to follow a certain procedure to replace the CF card? Regards, Jerno

ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 1/21/2026 Posts: 22829 Rating: (3074)	Helo, do you mean version V4.5 ? This card ist for the SINAMICS CU320-2 Devices. The FW V2.4 ist for the old device CU320. If you will use your old CU320 then you must use a V2.6 FW. Regards Christoph
