In the attached videos, I show a never before seen behaviour:

The NC faulted after a while when the machine was running. The 7-segment display went off (except for the dot). PLC was ok and runnning. NC was faulted. (watch video). You could see the PLC (MPI=13) on the S7 manager network.

Then power off/on and the NCU went berserker! All leds lit and the 7-segment display show a 1-1-6 code. Any one knows how to decode that?

I couldn't set the NC / PLC to default settings using S3/S4. All I could get was either a 2 or 3 showing up.

Then I took it off, tried a 'suspicious' NCU and swapped the COM, DRV, an PLC daughter boards. Plug it in. Fired it up. And I could then set the NC/PLC to default settings.

But the question remains: what the hell happened to to the 'new' NCU?

What was your OLD ncu card type no and NEW ncu card type no?
Does the new ncu card type noexcatly matches with the OLD NCU

Please check ?
