Spindle Power Trip out

John @ PPL Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	Hi, can someone advise me which parameter controls the spindle power % at which the machine control trips out. I have altered this parameter in the past to allow spindle power to peak to 105% (previously it would cut as soon as it went above 100%), unfortunately a water leak has destroyed the notes I made and now I cannot identify the parameter. The current operation I am doing is going ever so slightly over 110% for a split second and the machine trips out. The machine is apparently rated to run up to 150% power for very short periods of time / short duty so this shouldn't be a problem for it. And the extra load is litteraly only there for a split second, just as the tool breaks the swarf free. It is a tapping operation, and the power spikes just as the tap is reversed. It has sufficient power to drive the tap into the material, but will not allow it to reverse. However, once the panel is reset, I run the tap in reverse and can manually follow the tap out using the hand wheel. (Tap is in floating holder). Any help appreciated. 810D - PCU20 Thanks in advance. EDIT: It would appear the parameter in question is MD9428-MA_SPIND_MAX_POWER. Or is this just altering the display bar graph colour change point. MD9429 changes range of bar graph display. John
