Minimum Run hour logic

mav85 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	My application is airconditioning & I am Using S7 200 wherein I require to program a logic involving 10 motors which are to be sequenced based on Weekly Run hour. All motors are duty and will switch on based on demand. At the beginning of every week , the motor with the least run hour is to switch on at the first demand step and so on until the tenth motor. I am using Ladder Logic and tried to use comparators , but this requires creation of many subroutines. Is there possibility to use any specific library or function wherein I can enter the data to a table and obtain the minimum run hour from there. Similiar to : Min ( T1,T2,T3,...........T10) or Max( T1,T2,T3,...........T10) where T1...T10 are the run hours for each motor.

Zunar Posts: 60 Rating: (6)	Hi mav85, I do not know of a library function for this, but I think your problem can be solved easily by indirect addressing. If you have not used indirect addressing before, there is a wonderful section in the MicroWin online help. Attached is a small example of a function that finds the max and min values for a table with 10 entries. You could dosomething similar. Attachment MotorExample.zip (484 Downloads)
