Using ANY pointer

kapilkk Posts: 17 Rating: (1)	Hi, I have defined a FB MY_FB1 which calls the TCON and TSEND FBs. The TSEND FB requires a ANY pointerfor the data to be sent. If I give this as a absolute value (e.g. P#DB5.DBX0.0 BYTE 10) it works well. I wish my FB to have a any pointer input and pass on thisvalue to the TSEND function. The compiler does not allow me to directly conect the input variable of MY_FB1 to be connected to TSEND call. I tried to define a TMP_ANY variable of type ANY in MY_FB1 and copy value from input pointer to this variable. I connect TMP_ANY variable to TSEND function. However the TSEND somhow finds this out and gives error - Invalid ANY data pointer reference. How I can do this? Thanks and Regards, Kapil

This comes from another forum where we have had many such discussions, you could look up more threads using the Search function (on ANY parameters, for example).
