It constitutes the KTP 700 in some systems.

But there is no KTP700  in the list.(MMI folder)
Where can I find GSD file for the KTP700 Key touch panel?

Do not put in the KTP 700 'HWconfig, there is no problem communicating with the Touch Panel CPU 317. 

I do not know what is the difference.

When you use a GSD file for a HMI panel, you are using DP Direct keys.

I think that there are no GSD Files for Basic Panels, just for Comfort Panels.

I Think its because Basic panels do not support "PN or DP Direct Keys".

Right if you do not use DIRECT keys function.

You can stll use touchbuttons and function keys as tags inside the PLC but not (faster) as direct Input.

If you have a simatic PLC, you only need GSD file to set the Input - adress of keys and touchbuttons.

Those keys with direct connection to PLC - Input is called "direct key".

But anyhow, you may use touchbuttons and function keys still in PLC by a tag without GSD file.
