I'm using TIA Portal V13, I'm new to Siemens S7 so I'm just finding my way around.

I tried to install the PLC Simulator which I received when I purchased the software but each time, after the installation I get an error suggesting there's been a problem with the installation and files are missing/damaged.

It may be of no relevance but I previously had V11 installed which I then upgraded to V13.

Any ideas?

V13. In my haste I never took a screen shot which was a mistake.

My colleague has installed it perfectly on his machine, the only difference being his was a fresh installation of TIA V13 as opposed to my upgrade v11>v13. Probably not relevant but just trying to narrow it down.

Did you check this:

"The download is divided into several files. Please download all the files into the same directory and execute the file ending with .exe. The files will now be combined and you can execute the setup. "

If you install V13, you could uninstall an older version before:
