Change format project TP12 to TP11

jryu Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Hi all. I have a problem, I have a file (project) created with Tia portal 12, I want to open the same file on Tia Portal 11, how can do it?, can i change the format with a tool? is this possible? Regards and thank you!!

Here you find a overview what is possible for PLC: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/97554052 A HMI Upload is general not possible because on the panel is no project stored, only the compiled data. This data can't uploaded to the eingineering system. Regards Christoph

I can imagine only one situation, if project in PLC was created in TIAv11 and you want to backup that prj from PLC with TIAv11. Then you can download your new TIAv12 version to PLC and if something goes wrong, you got backup with TIAv11. As said Christoph, there isn't way to upload prj from HMI to change it and configure, only make backup (image) with ProSave.
