Probably a newbie question, but I have an Excel file containing all of the tag information for several tags.  If I could programmatically configure the start_address for the I/O modules, I would be all set.  But, I don't know if that is possible.  Therefore, I either have to manually set the start_addresses afterwards or know how TIA determines the values ahead of time and set the logical_address for the tags accordingly.

What is the best practice for configuring logical_addresses for imported tags so that they correspond to the correct I/O modules?

The attached image highlights the issue better.  I programmatically create the Excel file shown with the logical_addresses shown.  Those addresses don't line up with the I/Os modules on the various racks because I don't know how TIA determines the starting_address of the modules.  

Best case would be to programmatically set the starting_addresses for the I/O modules, but I don't know if that is possible.

Is there a best practice for aligning the logical_addresses in the imported file without manually setting the the starting_address of the I/O modules afterwards?

Currently, my best solution is to manually check the starting_addresses and using those values to programmatically derive the logical_addresses of the tags.

Hopefully, I can take that manual step out of the process.
