Can I use V13 license with V11 TIA?

Jch360 Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	I have V13 Professional floating license and have some older S7s with V11 programming. Is it possible to download V11 also and run it with the same license? Does Siemens require a brand new license for an older version of the software?

William_B Posts: 5225 Rating: (1204)	Online Tech You not able to download the Full Version of TIA V11 from Siemens Site. Yes and no. The software (as given in the link) is called a "TRIAL" version because no license is provided. The software will run like this for a limited time if no external license is loaded. If you however add a license to it (like what Jch360 can), then the software is full functional - to what the license allows. I have Step7 Professional license for TIA Portal V13 on my computer. If I then install TIA Portal V11, then this V11 software will be functional for Step 7 Professional. It should be added that the software will have to be updated to the latest software updates and also the HSP (hardware service pack) should be loaded too for the maximum ability. ...and thank you for providing the link to the software. w
