Dear all,

I have a S7-1200 CPU1214 DC/DC Relay (214-1HE30-0XB0). I communicated it with TIA Portal V11 (XP windows laptop) but it failed to detect this CPU. When I switched to TIA PORTAL V13, it easily detected it.

Now I would like to know that is this CPU only accessible in TIA PORTAL V13, if not then why was communication not developing with V11.

Second thing is that when CPU was detected it could not replace the unspecified CPU. why? Was I missing something? I've attached the uploading view with error mentioned.

What is the exact version of TIA Portal V11, you are using?

You will need V11 Sp2 update 3 or higher to program a V3 CPU, see the following link:

I am using TIA Portal V13 on my desktop PC (Windows 7). I'm having no problem with downloading the hardware and software, but uploading is causing nuisance. The CPU firmware version is V2.2.
