If you open a project which contains a GSD File this file will installed autiomatic. For the install only one instance of TIA Portal can running, close the second and open the project agein. After the install of the files you can start another TIA instance. Which TIA Portal Version (Main Version, SP Version, UPD Version) you have installed? Regards Christoph

I've found something about GSC as an abbreviation for global scripts, but that was sth about PCS. I've opened the S7-1500 example project for V13 SP1 from this link.
