1. You can check module LED states, module states, and have an OB called when the states change.

2. If a program error occurs, you can trap it and handle it yourself, you can use a global error handler (a good starting point), or you can do nothing and let the plc go into stop mode on program error (not usually a good choice).

3. You can force the PLC to stop on error using the global error handler.  However, you may find simple faults like sensor out of range are normal during special situations, and maybe even required - like calibrations.

4. You can set a relay to ON at the beginning of the program scan and leave it on.  Use that relay to control anything that needs to lose power should the plc stop processing.  Not an ESTOP function, just a "this needs to lose power" when the plc is no longer controlling the system.

I have a plc s7-1500 CPU 1511-1 PN installed. I use TIA portal V 13.

Is there a way to check all the input output modules and cpu module at startup and during program process?

I mean, is there a way whether are there any errors(red leds)?

I have not included any thing in my program to check?

What happens when some program or module errors occurs?

In this case does cpu runs such as nothing happens?

I want my option to stop program, and to stop machine if any errors related with CPU and modules?
