Hello Every Expert,

Right now I need and have to convert one WinCC7.0 project(*.MCP) running on SIMATIC HMI IPC677C into a WinCC flexible project or TIA portal project. Then I could replace the SIMATIC HMI IPC677C with SIMATIC TOUCH Panel like MP377 or TP1500....Because the HMI IPC677C is really inconvenient and very slow ,everytime it will take 2 more hours if we need to restart the IPC677C.

And I searched through the forum and looked through some topics about this....And I tried as the related topics...To open the WinCC project (*.MCP) directly with WinCC flexible 2008 Advanced SP3 ..But it is mentioned that the project is not WinCC V6.2 project and cannot be migrated..

Is there anybody who has ever tried this....Any advice would be grateful...

I think converting wincc project into wincc flexible is not going to work...
Please check next link 

What you can do , is to migrate your wincc project 7.0 to wincc 7.2 and afterwards migrate to TIA.

Check afterwards that the panel you choose , is able to run TIA Wincc with your local Siemens distributor...
