Hello ! I have a problem with an axial fan motor. This motor is 30 kw and running with a 37 kw mm440. Motor speed is 580 rpm and limited to 30 Hz. I have problems starting the motor after it has been stopped for some time. We noticed that when it is idle it is rotating freely in the opposite direction. What can i do to overcome this problem.

yes, it is possible to start motor to other direction than it rotate. See attached part of commissioning manual. Now I'm not sure which setting of p1200 will be best for this case, in manual there is p1200 = 1 to 3 for search in both directions.

I will make a trial by enabling P1200=1, P1202 and P1203 leave to 100 %. Yes you are right in tha parameter description is saying that 1 to 3  to search in both directions. Thank you. After trial i will tell you about the outcome.
