I can only use the screen/ select menu's when i connect a mouse to the usb connector.

Using the menu's by touching the screen doesn't work.

Sounds to me like a hardware issue... can you still see the finger prints of the last operator on the panel? (wink)

Jokes aside... you can try to make a screen calibration from the operating system of the panel. Can you access the operating system settings? I have little hope however. It is best you talk to an actual Siemens representative about this.

If you have the panel in a high vibration area, the connector to the touch sheet may have come loose.. but again this means repair or replacement.
