Hi,

I have an issue on my HP laptop after first installation of Step7 + S7 Safety.

When I create a project, in HW-Config I can't select the CPU315F order number 315-2FJ14-0AB0.

As shown in attached image, I have no possibilities to select the CPU from the main folder.

The same happens for CPU317F and CPU319F.

I have tried to update the Catalog with success but no modification. I also download HSP from Support and update Catalog by disk but the result is the same.

How to solve this issue?

this is a problem relating to an installation of SP4 for Step7 5.5 from DVD.

Start a repair-installation with SP4 from this page provided as download.

Service Pack 4 for STEP 7 V5.5 and STEP 7 Professional 2010

do this installation with deactivated anti-virus-scan and as admin(rigth-click -> run as admin)

Ok, it works 

I forget to disable anti-virus but the repair procedure works good.
