If you have FW above V4.7 and don't see any parameters related to free functional blocks. As example p20138 or whatever. The one of likely reasons may be a missing of CFC installed. Starter setup usually doesn't install it automatically. You should have put a check next the CFC line as showed on the screenshot below or just install that package. Technology Team Platinum Expert Joined: 10/11/2006 Last visit: 9/8/2025 Posts: 6039 Rating: (828)	Hello, the free function blocks are available since firmware V4.7 SP6 on the G120C. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/de/view/109482094/en?dl=en Please make sure that your G120C is using a firmware version≥4.7 SP6. If you are looking at p18 you have to consider, that the internal firmware version is displayed there. So a G120C with firmware V4.7 SP6 HF4 shows 4708318 in r18. You can find the latest 4.7 SP6 firmware under the following link. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/de/view/109482659

Cheers The topic is about the free function blocks, not about Drive Control Chart (DCC). For the free function blocks, which are part of the firmware no DCC or CFC is required. DCC is not supported by G120 or G120C.
