AR1 and AR2 interchange his content?

I have two pointer "any", wich point to 2 global DB. i have used a FC to work with this (like recommended). but I have a problem when: 1- read a word element from the first DB with L DBW [AR1,P#0.0]. -> OK 2-read a word element from the second DB with L DIW [AR2, P#0.0]. -> OK 3- but when I try to transfer the result of one logical instruction, e.g. XOR between the 2 word readed, into the first DB (corresponding to AR1) with T DBW [AR1,P#0.0] I have erroneus result. Like if the content of the AR1 was interchanged with the contents of the AR2. Thanks in advance..

I supose alarm_t and acuse_t are TEMP WORDs? 4. Instead T #loop_simple must be L #loop_simple before loop

GrzegorzG Posts: 63 Rating: (19)	And acces to word in "alarm" has to be made with L DBW[AR1,P#2.0], since it's structure: - state: bool, - alarm: word. And that's why there is +AR1 P#4.0. Another problem is that number of elements is transferred in bytes (if assigned symbolically), but single element has 4 bytes, there should be SRW 2 (division by 4) before T #alarm_Q.

alito Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	Respect to alarm_t and acuse_t, yes that are temporary word (sorry for not mention this). I alsohad have a transcription error inT#loop_simples; really is L#loop_simples. WhenI use the FC,thepointer tothe DB_alarm is: P#DB10.DBX 2.0 word14, where 2.0 is thefirst alarm (word) element,and14 is the quantity of alarm, thatis why I use L DBW [AR1,P#0.0] and not LDBW[AR1,P#2.0] (sorry for not mention that). Also, like GrzegorzG mentioned, alarm: any, is a pointer to structure, and that is why I do +AR1 P#4.0. I don't see the problem. ReallyIdon'tunderstandwhywhen I try to acces to the addressAR1 afterreadoverAR2 I have problems. Thanks...

GrzegorzG Posts: 63 Rating: (19)	Hello alito! I'm adding a source file with a sample FC that acceses data supplied via any pointer's. It's similar to your code. I don't know exactly what should it do, but it works and modyfies required data. You can use it as a sample.
