I have problem with sinamics DCM for hoist and Gantry operation.

I am using DDS0 for Gantry and DDS1 for Hoist.

Hoist need field weakening activated while Gantry is working with internal EMF.

When i select hoist i am writing Field weakening parameter 50081=1

when I select Gantry P50081=0.

50081 can only be changed in ready to swith on.

when Hoist Gantry Changeover is very fast hoist drive armature current is increasing more then 200% and then it trips on F60030.

I made delay time for changeover 700ms but still when fast operation by operator it trips.

This is happening same in 2 RTG crane.

We have upgraded to Sinamics DCM form old analog drive.

What would be solution?, any suggestion for this problem.

Have you incorporated electrical hardware interlocks of hoist zero speed & Gantry zero speed in the logic?

If not, please add & check.

 You mean in PLC program or DCC, it is available in PLC program.

IN DCC i m directly writing with Hoist Gantry Changeover.

You need to incorporate in PLC logic with appropriate delay, DCC is fast & can cause nusiense during switching from hoist to Gantry.

Attached project is of DCM CUD unit only, no power module i.e. DO2 parameters are seen. Moreover which is PLC CPU? How it communicates with CUD?

Please check DCM parameter p1226, this is for standstill detection. You can configure this as motor is at zero speed to PLC input. From PLC you can switch to gantry/hoist application.

standstill detection P1226 can not find in drive and CU both.

Drive is using with hardwired hoist and gantry selection and do not use PLC communication.

Drive ON/OFF1 and operation enable command is coming through hard wire.

This program is working program which is created in Simotion V5.2. i have attached again with V4.5.

That is how I had asked how the interlocks are wired up.

Anyway, configure 1 spare DO as a zero speed each for hoist/gantry mode. e.g. say DO0, connect r53025.6 to p50771, so when motor is at rest DO0 will be ON. This DO you can wire up in inetrlocks which shall ensure that hoist/gantry switch ON is possible when motors are at zero speed.

In the PLC program Already interlock for stand still signal.

I changed the DCC with delay time and given the feedback to PLC, incorporated in PLC program before Hoist run and Gantry run.

Now Drive running smoothly without fault. It was matter of Hoist /gantry Changeover (Field weakening ON/OFF)

Problem is Solved.
