I think what Frink means is, if you are actually printing Audit, then it is most probably done through Reports. If you look at the cross reference of that report you can see where the system function PrintReport is called and check if there is some delay programmed.

You are printing the file with a push button. When are you calling the script? I assume right after the cycle and the script is probably running fine and fast.

If you forget the script for now and only test the printing push button with some files, preferably different sizes.

Are you actually printing anything directly with printreport function or are you converting file to a pdf for example?

Like Frink asked before how many entries there are in your Audit file? E.g. pdf printing is slow 50 pages approx.10 minutes.
