As you can see on the attachment I have two asynchronous pulse generators. One is set to 5 seconds and the other to 10 second. The problem is that after one cycle they start to differentiate.

So after 10 seconds the first generator makes two cycles and the second one cycle and there is a difference.

The first is showing 01:51s  and the second 01:54s . After a while the difference is widening.

Can someone tell me why is this happening and can be corrected?

If you need 2 synchronous clock signals, then try exampe in attachment.

A difference that gets bigger stays with your program.

Your first pulse generator has a period of 5:01 s, the second pulse generator has a period of 10:01 s.

5:01 s x 2 = 10:02 s.

If you change the values of the second pulse generator in 10:01 s and 0:01 s (or in 10: 00 s and 0:02 s), then the pulse generators run in parallel with a ratio of 2 to 1.

I have try this solution but still there is a difference. Perhaps on the LOGO it will be OK but I have not tried because I found the solution with 2 synchronous clock's useful.

Why should someone use two asynchronous clocks when there is a solution for clocks that will run synchronously for a long time ? I would prefer the safety version.
