Hi all,

I've inherited our PCS7 system to maintain as part of my role.

Whilst I have a fair bit of Siemens S7 experience, there's a few things I'm uncertain of in PCS7, one of which is how I should be backing up the project.

It consists of ES, 2x Servers, 3x OS, 3x AS.

Before me, there were no archives taken for 3 years so the first thing I've done is to take an archive of the project before I do anything.

However, I want to make sur that archiving regularly is enough. Should I be doing anything else? I have read in some notes about doing a "chart readback" periodically too but not sure what this means?

Thanks for these links, this is exactly how I am archiving the multiproject, so thats good to know.

I do this monthly anyway and also before and after any changes.

FYI, we are on PCS7 v8.0 SP2
