Hi Guys Can you please tell me how many Logic module (CPU) can be connected to the same LOGO! TDtext display, 6-line Also I found this info in one of the official slides but it was not clear •Maximum configuration per *SingleLOGO! configuration: 24 DI, 20 DO, 8 AI und 8 AO *In network-operation : 88 DI, 84 DO, 40 AI, 24 AO Correct me if I am wrong the above statement mean I can connect only 11xLogice module only (8 Digital Input in each Logic module) in the same LAN network |

First of all: All statements refer to a LOGO! from the device series 0BA8. to 1.) The TDE can only communicate with one LOGO!. You can, however, change the LOGO! which is currently communicating with the TDE in a network with several LOGO!s. To do this, change in the TDE settings only the IP address of the desired LOGO!. But only works with LOGO!s that work in Master mode, since Slave-LOGO!s do not have their own program. to 2.) This statement from Siemens relates to a Master-/Slave- operation of several LOGO!s in a network. Every LOGO! 0BA8 can manage a maximum of 24 digital inputs with corresponding digital expansion modules. In addition, a maximum of 64 digital inputs can be read from the Slave-LOGO!s via network inputs (maximum 64). Example: 1 x Master-LOGO! with extensions = 24 DI. 3 x Slave-LOGO! with extensions = 72 DI. Of these 72 DIs, the Master-LOGO! can only read a maximum of 64 via network inputs. So in total (24 + 64) then 88 DI. The situation is similar with the digital outputs, the analog inputs and the analog outputs. But please consider: The slave LOGO! S do not have their own program. You provide the master LOGO! only their hardware (DI, DO, AI and AQ) is available. Edit: AttachmentLOGO! 8 manual 0BA8 2014_06 pages 27-30.pdf (308 Downloads) |
