My guess is that it is not the same problem, but rather the result of a change in the login process over the weekend. As far as I know, the Panel Image Updater needs an update to handle the new login process. This should be released later this week.

The new version V1.1.0.0 of the HMI Panel Image Updater has been released for download yesterday afternoon. You must use this version to enable login.

There are also reports of login problems for the HMI Panel Image Updater in the German section of the forum. However, it works for me, and to verify, I also tested successfully with a newly created account.

Please check your access rights. Are you allowed to download export restricted software?

I can confirm that the HMI PIU 1.1.0.0 is working correctly from Italy. I have rights of use and download of restricted software.

No, there is no panel image updater for WinCC Unified panels.

Hello everyone,

Please make sure you only have the new V1.1.0.0 version of the HMI Panel Image Updater (PIU) installed. A previously installed version V1.0.0.0 will remain installed during the installation and may cause problems. So please remove V1.0.0.0 before installing V1.1.0.0. Hope this helps.

Hi,

I got some feedback from the developers. Basically the login method is the same as in the browser. So if it works in the browser, it should work in PIU.

However, it is necessary to be able to access SIOS (or SiePortal) without having to acknowledge an SSL warning, as this cannot be done by PIU.

But most likely everyone posting here in the forum will have no problem accessing the platform using the new Siemens ID. So to get this problem solved for you, you should create a support request.

Problems laso form me.

I uninstalled (HMI_PIU_Installer_1.0.0.0) and installed new version (HMI_PIU_Installer_1.1.0.0) but when i try to login after e few seconds i have the error: "Error occurred. Plese try again".

Tried many times and on two computers, i have the same problem.

Email and password are correct, if i click on button "GO to SIOS" and make the login all is OK.

First of all, it is important to manually uninstall version V1.0.0.0, as this is unfortunately not done during the installation of version V1.1.0.0. This solved the login problem for me. If this does not solve the problem for you, please create a support request so that development can focus on your problem.

I imagine you are referring to the images of the Basic and Comfort panels. They can still be used with versions after v17. As it is gradually migrating to the Unified environment, images are not released for these versions. But you can use those of previous versions such as v17 and the updates that this one receives without any problem.
