Or did you copy it from your Documents&Settings folder into your Windows directory ? Basically, REGEDIT.EXE should only be in the C:\WINDOWS or C:\WINNTdirectory. If it is anywhere else it will cause conflicts. It sounds to me like your environment variables may be messed up. Can you post your system diagnostics file here. You can get this by : Start -> Run Type winmsd and hit OK Go to File -> Export Save to text file and post here

When you have terminal Server installed on the server, there is a folder Windows in th user folder, and the software write all his information in this folder instead of system folder. Now, i know this, but in the documentation, and in siemens support, there is no warning on install with terminal Server. Thanks for your help Best regards Lionnel

It states that you need to install Terminal Services after installing WinCC - I guess for this very reason. That is always the order I have done it in and it's always worked fine.
