look, it can be maybe reason to request data from Server every 1s but consider pls to have for first clear info that you have connection established for first. Here docuemntation can help again. STATUS values and possible other outputs like ERROR and DONE combinations are your right step to have correct block functionality. You can maybe try set your REQ also with that info that you have connection established, ok, also if you need that 1Hz poll time with this in one AND condition. Logical?

I see probably your problem also with not correct Modbus data cfg so I expect you'll return after while again with info that you still don't have data  Again pls, show us Online block values what you have set there. What is reason to set buffer with INT data type defined?

 so true? What MB address, what data you want from Server (register type) and how much data (LEN). Check relay documentation about expected data types and register types, this you need set correctly to your CLIENT block.

ok. As I stated previously, do set your REQ to Merker now only set by your self, not that 1Hz time clock and also some BUSY signal. This 1Hz and other signal can be wrong with to do first tests in your case. Simply set that Merker and leave it ON permamnently. Check what you have then. Is that Holding register address correct? Did you check it previously with any PC app as MB Client prior do any PLC code? What documentation to relay says about that ddress value? Show that docs snippet to see that pls. Now you stuck because you can only guess where the problem is. Omit now PLC, start some PC app, connect to network and Server device and send your expected requests. If you'll have correct data then you can do some PLC code steps, logical?

We have checked the adress and ID with ModBus Poll within the same network.

  ok, I ask now 3-rd time if you have correct Modbus parameters and also for show them here. You said you did tests but what results????? What exactly you've set to poll SW because one thing is standard addressing and next is offset use. Look, if you want have some help, no problem from my side but ask again and again for same things is sometimes really tired

Next opinion,

look at your Online Client block with that REQ input, you have AND condition there with 1Hz clock and BUSY signal, ok as you wish. Now, if 1Hz clock can be true then only this isgnal you can have in true for a while but your BUSY signal is still in TRUE (negative input condition) so it looks like your REQ is never ON. Therefore I recommended to you set only one Merker and set it manually to have not other confused and maybe wrong conditions that will not enable your block functionality.

pls don't apologize, no need to do here. If i don't have taste to help, I'll not help. On other side, you're very close to success in my opinion but some parameters wrong set i expect here so maybe again for 4-th time  show us poll SW send data what you have set there to have correct look what you did wrong. ok, I expect you have correct received data with that PC SW from relay because if not, then no example will help you. You can have correct code flow but wrong parameters on CLIENT block about MB data or disconnection from server via some reason (STATUS/ERROR) can failed your functionality. No problem if you think that some Example can help you, you can find any on this Forum but no one will show you exactly Modbus areas as you expect with specific server device  so you will be stuck again. Look again to my idea for first, you'll return again with still no data. Your choice, shame waste of time here, or?

It can be next confusion becxause of your till reports about your functionality parts and no working parts. Now this! Any real Slave device (Server) need have defined formal Slave internal RTU address, check for sure this inside relay, also this you need set correctly inside Poll PC app to have correct data. This address you need also set correctly inside CLIENT instance DB inside parameter MB_Unit_ID. Then connect/execute your CLIENT block. This can be also your problem.

Pls set for test only that Merker memory only with REQ line condition to be sure for next step for help in case.

and here we finally are looks like. If standard address is 2000 then your destination is -> 40001+2000->42001 so in case of not extended range in this case. Set also LEN in Client only 10 as you've set with Poll SW and also check as I recommended in previous post -> MB_Unit_ID, here set 1 as I see in Poll SW. If you'll set all correctly, you need have then data for sure 

Update: just one important, I see your set on CLIENT now address 402001 what is probably ok to me, simply I feel that is same as I recommended with standard range because I expect internal driver it takes to account with same functionality. Hmmmm, then only MB_Unit_ID probably you need have set with 1 as is also visible inside Poll SW. Sry I don't have any access to SW so only can help with screenshots you provide. In this case I don't see any problem, you need have data because it is than same as Poll SW settings, except of your REQ conditions.

Update2: really horrible situation to check all step by step, now is clear to also other users what need to be checked and is not easy in case you are not lucky with random functionality. Look to your STATUS-> 16#80C8 this is simply clear that you have not connection to server device. I don't know is strange that with PC you have without problems but with PLC not. Only one simple reason it can be in my opinion, you have still established connection from PC app to device and not disconnected. If this is your state now, disconnect PC app because you can then not connect from PLC to same Port 502. Really I hope you'll have data heh

Don't hesitate come back with no functionality. Then it can be somewhere else.

try do another simple test, start PC Poll SW as Server if it has this capability, you need set another IP of Server (IP of PC) at CLIENT connection but then start PLC CLIENT to this PC SW as test. Simply try find reason why you not have correct functionality, but I see that connection error so this is now looks like problem. Your report was only that seems to be you have connection but now PC SW can show if you are connected with your PLC settings
