Well, I made about 30 copies of the block... All in OB35 and everything OK (8.1 SP1) Do you have a screenshot of the block showing the runtime group in CFC?

How are you? Do you have a screenshot of the CFC block? I think it's unlikely to have a block not inserted in OB3x in CFC. It should be indicated in the right upper part of the block. See the enclosed file. I'm very curious what it says on your "Trigger" block.

Tried few times in different code backups I have... and able to simulate scenario you have posted here.. 

In runtime group, under OB100.. I deliberately set one of the folders as 'Predecessor for Insert Position' and whatever blocks I dragged and dropped from Catalogue were assigned in OB100 Runtime group only !!!!

To Fix this 'Insert anything just in OB100 effect'.. I manually set one of the folders in OB35 as Predecessor.. dragged FB1821.. and problem solved..

Ironically or accidently you clicked one of the folders in OB100 as predecessor

Good that you recreated the initial problem. I was hoping for a screenshot to see what runtime group the block was set to. And indeed: Setting predecessor position to OB35 will have the following blocks inserted in runtime group OB35.

In addition to the previous comments, also find attached image.

FB1821 Block properties has 's7_tasklist' attribute which has value of OB100.

Hence it is also called in OB100 as well as Cyclic OBs (OB3x)..

However, did a little test today:

1.  Check that Component View>Chart folder>Properties >Advanced "Chart-based insertion" is enabled (as it is default in PCS7v8)

2. In a CFC drag a trigger block from library

3. Right click and set this as predecessor for installation (OB33)

4. Select block and CTRL+drag or COPY+PASTE to create a copy of first block.

5. In this experiment the second Trigger was created only in OB100

It is not only Trigger-blocks that does this, I guess all blocks that are to be inserted in both OB3x and OB100 have the same issue?!

Finding blocks that have been created only in OB100 is not easy, because consistency check and compile does not give notification for all blocks that are not installed in a cyclic OB.

 When you select: "Predesessor for insert position", did you select the first option: "OB33\<CFC chartname>?? When you select the other one-> OB100\<CFC chartname>, then the next block will install in OB100. So make sure you select "OB33"

I cannot see perfectly in your attached picture, but the first block is inserted in OB33? Or OB32? If OB32, replace OB33 in the above text.

I'm experiencing the same things in PCS7 8.0 and 8.1 (w/ SP1).
It's a strange behavior: I'm not able to reproduce it at the moment. Still I don't know if it's a bug or it's a mistake of mine. What I know is that it suddendly happens.

Edit: what is the Chart-based Insertion option? I have this situation (see the screenshot) and I didn't modified it.
