Is there a way to send the encoder information from the G120 to the Simotion and then use it into a positioning axis? Thanks in advance.

Jeff Casagrande Posts: 1529 Rating: (203)	With a CU250S-2 PN/DP you could use telegram 3. Configure your fieldbus for IRT communication. you should be able to use the standard TO's.

AutoGen_51621 Bronze Member Joined: 2/6/2015 Last visit: 11/8/2018 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	You can activate the IRT but it doesn't have effect on the G120. the G120 is able to pass thru IRT messages over it's switch, but the device itself doesn't support isochronous communication. if the application doesn't require high precision then usually it's ok without the isochronous option on the G120... kind regards, J.

Are there Telegrams configured on the G120, if yes which one? The G120 is not supported from the Feature "Automatic Telegram settings" so you must configure the telegram on the G120 device manual an transfer it to HWConfig, then a axis should be connectable to it. Jeff Casagrande Posts: 1529 Rating: (203)	I was able to do this (Scout V4.4) Drive_1 created in TIA Portal, telegram 3 Axis Test created in Scout as a synchronous axis _enableGearing command was entered as expected using Test._Synchrous_Operation as the following axis.
