I have following requirements to be fulfilled.

1.I have s7 1200 PLC to be placed 500 meters away from office.

I have to communicate to my wincc advanced rt by WiFi from my ofice.

How I can do that ?what hardware do I need?

2.I need to access the same PLC in web to access few production data.

To do both the things what all hardwares I need to consider?

i dont have any internet connection near by PLC, i have net connection available only in office i.e, 500 meters away from PLC.

It is cost effective project so i need to move with third party please suggest

Ya myself completely agree with you.

But i had a feedback from customer saying they have some cameras that are linked to their office by WiFi, i hope they should have setups in place.

I am just planning to hook up ours, let us see how does it works.

All you need is:

2 WiFi Access Points, Bridge mode capable

2 directional antennas (optional)

some patch cable, etc.

You have to link

• one Access Point with your office network
• one Access Point with your PLC network
• the two Access Points in Bridge Mode

That's all...

You don't need any scalance module.

 Could you use any type of access points? I mean - not siemens brand - 
as if your answer is yes, so this could be useful for large distances for more than 1 KM ( Out of Siemens supported range )

As of now i am just collecting theoretical ideas, i will give complete clarity may be after a week once i speak to this web cam guys.
